The seminar of the Jean Monnet Chair: "The justice of the future: perspectives and challenges" was held with the participation of Professor Adrián Palma, member of the legal area of the Neurolaw group.
Last Wednesday 22 April, the Jean Monnet Chair Seminar "Human EURO-RIGHTS" under the title: "The justice of the future: perspectives and challenges" was held in a hybrid format.
The meeting, coordinated by Professor C. Benlloch Domènech, took place in person at the Conference Hall of the Faculty of Social Sciences (Tarongers Campus).
The event featured a prominent international presence and it was built around two big debate tables about algorithm, neurosciences and artificial intelligence.
In the first colloquium our colleague Adrián Palma Ortigosa, assistant professor, Doctor of Administrative Law from the Universitat de València and member of the research group (GIN), participated analising the ethical, social and legal challenges of neurotechnologies with: Isabel Cornejo Plaza, professor from the Jean Monnet Chair, director of the E-ride Module, director of “LISAlab” and the Neurometa group (Universidad Autónoma de Chile); Pedro J. Pérez Zafrilla, professor of Philosophy of the Universitat de València; Hernán López Hernández, assistant professor of the "IA and Private Law Jean Monnet Module" at the Universidad Autónoma de Chile and doctoral student from the Universitat de València.
