
On Friday, February 2, 2024, at 4:00 p.m., the first scientific meeting of the year of the NeuroLaw group took place at the La Nau Cultural Center in Valencia, in the Seminar Room, Level 3, located at C/ De la Universitat, 2 - 46003.
The session featured a conference titled "Research on Human Beings: Between Scientific Freedom and Legal Prohibition (Some Principles Contemplated in Spanish Law)," delivered by Prof. Dr. José Manuel Sánchez Patrón from the Department of International Law at the University of Valencia and coordinator of the NeuroLaw Research Group at the University of Valencia.
The session began at 4:00 p.m., followed by a debate at 4:45 p.m. After a coffee break, presentations were held at 5:30 p.m. on the conclusions of the Working Groups in NeuroLaw, Psychology and Ethics, Neurocriminology and Procedural Law, and NeuroLaw and Artificial Intelligence. The event concluded with another debate at 6:00 p.m.
