Study the evolution, life cycle and host-pathogen interaction of Vibrio vulnificus and Vibrio harveyi.
Obtain the genome of different strains of the genus Vibrio, and analyse specific pathogen-related processes.
Identify fish pathogens in industrial samples, and diagnose related diseases.
Design and approve new vaccines against these pathogens.
Study the immunoprotection provided by special diets.
