AIGUA5G
PLEC2024-011160
The AIGUA5G project, supported by TransMisiones 2024 and the collaboration between CDTI and AEI, aims to digitalize and automate the water cycle through IoT, edge computing, and 5G technology. Involving four companies and two research institutions, the project focuses on enhancing efficiency, sustainability, security, and resilience in water management within Valencia.
Key innovations include 5G RedCap devices, digital twins for network management, drones, and radar systems, with applications in monitoring, advanced analytics, and leak detection. Priority is given to energy efficiency, sustainability, and cybersecurity, while validating technologies such as AI, Big Data, and 5G SA private networks.
Each partner provides essential expertise: EMIVASA in AI and water management; EMIMET and Fivecomm in 5G networking; A4Radar in radar technology; and UPV and UV in digital twins and technical research. Led by EMIMET, the project promises to reduce resource consumption, optimize operational efficiency, and contribute to the circular economy and sustainability, while further driving technological, economic, and social development.
