3rd International Workshop on Liver and Gut Fibrosis
3rd International Workshop on Liver and Gut Fibrosis
Face-to-face

Specialist forum focusing on the molecular mechanisms of fibrosis in the gut and liver. For both basic researchers and clinical experts.

The 3rd International Workshop on Liver and Gut Fibrosis will take place in Valencia, Spain, 16-17 October 2025. Organized by the University of Valencia, sponsored by CIBEREHD and FISABIO, and endorsed by major international (EASL, ECCO) and national (AEEH, AEG, GETECCU, SEF) societies in the field, the workshop aims to bring together basic scientists and clinical experts in a specialist forum where they can share  perspectives on a medical condition that constitutes an increasing global health problem. The programme is designed to showcase research concerning the molecular mechanisms involved in fibrosis in the gut and liver and to stimulate the exchange of knowledge that may help to improve current therapies and lead to the identification of new and effective pharmacological targets.

The event, to be held at ADEIT-Fundació Universitat-Empresa de València, is aimed at clinicians and basic/translational researchers from universities and research institutes, as well as professionals working in hospitals and health services (resident doctors, medical students and nurses).

Registration closes 6th October.
