Exhibition of the Permanent Theatre Workshop 1st level
‘Bernarda y nosotros’
Collective adaptation of "La casa de Bernarda Alba" by Federico García Lorca
Professor/director: Eva Zapico.
This play talks about closed women and we have used it to talk about our own closures.
This play talks about classism; it talks about asphyxia and the weight of social conventions on women; it talks about female and historical sexual repression. And it speaks about men’s power.
It speaks of how romanticism has educated us, knotted us up and prevented us from being.
It speaks of women who, in their attempt to be free, lose everything.
Theatre tickets can be booked in advance at La Tenda de la Universitat of La Nau and on the campuses, or on the website (https://events.fundacio.es/o/5). Each ticket will cost €2'10
