One year after the Dana, its grave consequences in our territories and the loss of 239 people (according to official communicates), Universitat de València Residence Hall Rector Peset joins multiple civil and institutional initiatives with three commemorative proposals with the title '29.oct.2024. Any, Dany, DANA' ('29-O 2024. Year, Damage, DANA').

At Muralla Room, the 'No sap ploure. Desigualtats en la DANA del 2024' ('It can't rain right. Inequalities of the DANA 2024') exhibition with Antonio Ariño (UV) and José Luís Cueto (UPV) bring images reflecting inequalities that put vulnerable people under a different menace amidst natural disasters like DANA, with a diversity of consequences.

Xavier Ferragut (Algemesí,1964) presents 'Vida, mort i VIDA' ('Life, death and LIFE') is a collection of paintings made with mud of the flood as a base, combining different textures, pigments and materials generated in the weeks after the Magro overflowing in Algemesí, with powerful emotion and contradictory feelings.

A series of pieces damaged by the flood when it entered the association headquarters will be displayed on the balconies of the Rector Peset Residence Hall, named 'Eixirem. Art al Carrer' ('We'll get out. Art on the Streets') along with the work of artists displaying the situation of women of the DANA, particularly single-parent families.
