Conference on 'Els cognoms valencians'

A call for communications and the inscription of the course 'Els cognoms valencians' ('Valencian Surnames') with two credits recognised by the Cefire, is open until 2 December.
ELS COGNOMS VALENCIANS (Valencian Surnames)
Documentation, evolution, distribution and etymology, paying special attention to unique lineajes.
The conference will take place on 2, 3 and 4 February at the Universitat de València.
2 and 3 February - the sessions will take place at the Enric Valor Hall of the Faculty of Philology, Translation and Communication.
4 February - the sessions will take place at the Palmireno Hall of the Faculty of Geography and History.
The course has 4 lectures, a panel discussion titled 'Modelos de diccionario de apellidos valencianos' ('Dictionary Model of Valencian Surnames'), and a book presentation session on works about valencian lineajes taught by the authors. The minutes of the event is planned to be published in a volume (digital or printed).
