Who says UBUNTU, says humanity. Says that if everyone wins, you win. Ubuntu means “We were because we are”. Ubuntu is humility, empathy, it is a common good that, at the same time, is a private good.

In many cultures, not only in the African culture, exists this philosophical idea that Amores Percussion Group, together with musician Asso Mbaye and dancer Elisabeth Mendy, from La Luna de África, bring back through music and dance: connecting with the universe. The show fuses together traditional African music with the avant-garde sound thanks to the compositions of Steve Reich, Philippe Glass and Jesús Salvador Chapi. Ancestral rhythms and minimalism propose music as a language, as a universal way of connecting with Ubuntu through a mantra, which is present in both types of music. A connection between individuals, cultures and nations, in which tradition and contemporaneity come together as one.
