Universitat de València Urban Musics Classroom brings four concerts this Autumn. The first proposal is a conference-concert and the rest are part of the new cycle starting in October named 'Márgenes ' ('Margins').

PROGRAMME:

• Conference-concert 'Igualdad, género y rock and roll' ('Equality, gender and rock and roll') on uesday 7 October at 7:00 p.m., Universitat de València Cultural Centre La Nau Matilde Salvador Room. A dialogue with psychologist, anthropologist, musician and writer Monty Peiró, and cultural journalist Marta Moreira. Next, Monty Peiró will give a concert for rock and roll women.
• The 'Márgenes' Cycle is coordinated by Eduardo Guillot trying to revive and promote groups that inhabit the borders of the conventional music industry. All concerts take place at the historical building of Universitat de València Capilla de la Sapiencia on Fridays at 7:00 p.m.:

  • FITZCARRALDO, 17 October. Experimental duo by Andrés Blasco (Carmina Burana, Dr. Truna) and Pilar Barrachina (Felpudo Tos) who gained popularity in the 90s.
  • LOS PREMIOS, 21 November. Quintet by presigious musicians from València, members of different bands such as Polock, Bob Lazy and Yo Diablo among other.
  • TRENA, 12 December. Quartet by young women that was formed in late 2023 with a fresh and free pop sound, critical and ironic.

The ticket for the concerts all cost 3 € and all earnings will be destined for the Universitat de València Post-DANA Help and Restoration Programmes.
