
The POWERCO-UV has announced the first edition of the Awards for the Best Undergraduate Degree and Master’s Degree Final Projects related to Battery Research, Development, Manufacturing, Utilisation and Recycling
Goals of this call
This prize aims to recognise and award the best academic projects carried out in the field of battery research, development, manufacturing, utilisation and recycling, more specifically those destined to Electric Mobility. With this, the goal is to promote talent and encourage university students to study batteries as a key element in the transition towards electric mobility and storing energy .
Benefitted people
Undergraduate or graduate students of any official degrees from the Universitat de València who have presented their undergraduate or Master’s final project during the 2024-2025 academic year on subjects related to the field of Battery Research, Development, Manufacturing, Utilisation and Recycling may participate.
A mark of at least 8.0 or over in their Undergraduate or Master’s final project is mandatory to apply.
Participants will have to present a document depending on their proposed category in which the main aspects of their projects are listed.

Monetary amount granted
This call has established a total of 3000 euros in awards, distributed in the following way:
Undergraduate Degree Final Project Awards
- 1st prize: €1000 to the best Undergraduate degree final project
- 2nd prize: €500
Master’s Degree Final Project Awards
- 1st prize: €1000 to the best Master’s degree final project
- 2nd prize: €500
The monetary award will be subjected to the Income Tax retention corresponding to the current regulations. This award is compatible with other subsidies, grants, incomes or resources for the same goal.
Date to hand in documentation: 15 December 2025. Period extended until 15 January 2026.
