During this week, researcher Daniela Rosso, together with Prof. Francesco d'Errico (University of Bordeaux, CNRS), travelled to the University of the Witwatersrand (Johannesburg) and the McGregor Museum (Kimberley).

The aim is to analyse the dyes from Border Cave, South Africa, a key site of the Middle and Later Stone Age in Africa, studied in collaboration with L. Wadley and L. Backwell. This study aims to understand the evolution of dye use over the last 200,000 years in southern Africa.
