The Department of Prehistory, Archaeology and Ancient History of the UV and the Mupreva have submitted reports to the Generalitat de Economía against the installation of a photovoltaic plant in Campo Arcís (Requena, València).

This plant could directly affect the archaeological protection areas of two important Iberian BRL sites (the settlement of Cerro de la Cabeza and the rural settlement of Casa de la Cabeza), as well as damaging the surroundings of the Solana de las Pilillas cave mills (BIC). At the same time, the large number of plants planned in the Requena-Utiel region would jeopardise the integrity of the cultural landscape of Tierra Bobal.

Renewable energies YES, but always with a balanced distribution, respecting the historical and archaeological heritage, cultural landscapes and the environment.
