The current practise’s purpose is to move the student closer to the labour of communication of the results of a research work, through unconventional tools and methods and closer to the provenience culture.
It proposes an example of the new techniques that are now being used in the visual sociology area to communicate the acquired knowledge through an investigation. For this purpose, it has been done a selection of a social documentary developed in the area of a scientific research with the goal of communicating the results to an audience that is directly interested in the social problem researched.
It requires and favours the development of a certain capacity of imagination by the student, since they have to, from the contents acquired through the interviews, build a narration that uses the directly collected word from the interested people, but also pictures that represent the “typical” life context of the people that live in the analysed social problem.
