Developed activities

During 2025 and the beginning of the 2026 year, we have consolidated the undertaken work in order to study, teach, and transfer subjects related with our object of study, which are podcasts and new audio journalistic languages.

Several group members have posted collectively two articles in magazines of the first quartile, a book, and a chapter included in a monograph. We have also participated in lectures and inaugural conferences in three congresses, two of them international.

On the other hand, we have celebrated the first edition of the congress that has the same name than our research group INNOCAST2025 Valencia, under the title of “Perspectivas innovadoras en el podcasting” (Innovative perspectives in podcasting) at the Faculty of Philology, Translation and Communication, in December 2025.

In July 2025, the IP of the group, professor Carlos López Olano, went to the Lucien Blaga University, in Sibiu, and to the University of Bucarest (Romania). He went there to get in contact with groups and professors who are interested in research about new journalistic formats. 

We have also developed transfer actions, such as the UV contract with À Punt media to make the multimedia podcast “#ElMur, memòria i exili”, which was broadcast in the 1 radio, platform and regional networks in 2025. 

IP Carlos López Olano also started a collaboration with elDiario.es in September 2025, with a monthly column of dissemination about podcasting and its situation in Spain.
