The life of the Valencian photojournalist Luis Vidal Corella allows us to take a historical tour through the Valencian post-war period. Luis Vidal Corella lived the city’s most important occurrences of the previous century. From the proclamation of the Republic, the Civil War, or the Post-war, to the devastating floods of 1957. In this exhibition we will narrate the biography of the Valencian photographer and we will meet his co-workers. We will discover the lost photos from Civil War, and the Post-war tough years, when alliances with Germany or Italy, military parades, or visits of the dictator Franco indicated the future of the city.

Spanish video podcasting on Youtube and Spotify – Conversational and professionalised

The aim of the current research is analysing the implementation and development of video podcasting in Spain. For this purpose, a content analysis of 19 variables is applied to the 112 most highlighted video podcasts of the country at the beginning of the 2023-2024 season. Concretely, the production, the speakers, their content and their formal and technical aspects are analysed. The results demonstrate the predominance of digital native video podcasts of independent production, the majority of them hosted by a single speaker who is most likely a man; conversational genre, general themes and addressed to entertainment or dissemination purposes; posted on a weekly basis, with a length of one...

All of these results indicate a development of the audiovisual format in Spain, as a new era in the evolution of podcasting.
