The project "Pilot study of an improved insecticide nanoformulation based on azadirachtin - neem oil" (ESSÈNCIA-N) has been awarded.

The project "Pilot trial of an improved insecticide nanoformulation based on azadirachtin - neem oil" (ESSÈNCIA-N) has recently been awarded. Its general objective is to develop, validate and demonstrate the potential of combining nanomaterials with azadirachtin or neem oil to combat Delottococcus aberiae and thrips in citrus and whiteflies (Dialeurodes citri, Paraleyrodes minei and Aleurothrixus floccosus) in persimmon. The project involves the University of Valencia as coordinator, the Polytechnic University of Valencia and the Valencian Farmers' Association (AVA-ASAJA) and has been subsidised by the Cooperation Grants of the PDR-C.V 2014-2020 (O.E 53%, 8.86% MAPA, 38, 14% GVA).
