The European Women Rectors Association announce the "6th European Women Rectors Conference” which will take place at Malmö University on 13-14 May, 2019.

The special focus of the conference will be on “Responding to Evolving Challenges: Best Practices for Women Leadership in Academia”. EWORA cordially invites women in leadership positions at universities and research organizations, gender experts and members of higher education networks to join us at the conference.

European Women Rectors Association (EWORA) is a full-fledged International Non-Profit association established in Brussels under Belgian Law in December 2015 to promote the role of women in leadership positions in the academic sector and to advocate gender equality in higher education and research at European and international scales. EWORA is the continuation of European Women Rectors Platform (EWRP), which has been active since 2008 in organizing biennial European Women Rectors Conferences.
