Development of digital material for education in sustainability in public health. DIGISOSP project.

Granted by Resolution of June 10, 2022, of the Office of the "Vicerrectorat" for Permanent Training, Teacher Transformation and Employment of Universitat de València.

Public health can contribute to providing students with knowledge, a critical attitude and motivation to understand the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) and that they are able to address sustainable attitudes with their environment in their daily and professional practice and thus be able to contribute to long-term improvement solutions.
It is proposed that students can identify the problems of unsustainable development and be able to act and counteract its negative consequences, highlighting the connections between structural and intermediate health determinants with their effects.
Selected contents linked to each of the aspects contemplated in the teaching guide for the subject "Public Health" are presented, identifying their relationship with each of the SDGs.
