What are the SDGs?
In 2015, the United Nations (UN) approved the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
Sustainable, lasting development is defined as that "capable of ensuring that it meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own".
The 2030 Agenda has 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), which range from the elimination of poverty to the fight against climate change, education, equality for women, the defense of the environment or the design of cities..
