The Second Edition of the SEOFER Chair Award of the Universitat de València is open to the best Final Degree Project, Master's Thesis or Doctoral Thesis related to transport, mobility or road safety.
Designed to recognize and encourage dissemination in the field of Road Safety, Transportation, Intelligent Mobility and Road Signaling, this award focuses on promoting research and development of innovative ideas that contribute to improving the quality of life on our roads and cities.
The award is open to all university students and doctoral students from any university in Spain who have submitted and approved their Final Degree Project (TFG), Master's Final Project (TFM) or doctoral thesis during the 2021-2022 or 2022-2023 academic years, and which are related to any of the following topics:
- The improvement of human factor performance (perception, attention, learning and attitudes) in road safety.
- Ultimately reducing accident rates and increasing road safety.
- Improved mobility and road safety for Vulnerable Users.
- Advancing traffic efficiency and reducing congestion.
- The promotion of digitalization in transportation.
- The development of connectivity (Infrastructure - Vehicle).
- The reduction of emissions in transport.
The winner of this award will receive a cash prize of €2,000 in recognition of his or her excellent contribution in the field. In addition, the Doctoral Thesis may also be awarded with a second prize or special mention, without a financial endowment necessarily associated with it.
