Analyse the visual representation of the figure of the slave and emancipated slave in photography.
Analyse the representation of colonisers and colonised subjects in colonial propaganda photography and vernacular photography.
Analyse the legacy of visual representations of slavery, the slave-like work conditions post abolition, and modern-day colonialism.
Propose museum strategies that enable symbolic restitution of a colonial past that has so far been narrated by the colonisers.
Develop curated projects and exhibitions that invite viewers to think about the links between the past and the present from the perspective of decolonisation.
