The design and synthesis of chemosensors capable of recognising anions has attracted much attention in recent years due to the fundamental role played by the anions in a wide range of biological, chemical, and environmental processes. Our group aims to to obtain more selective, and sensitive chemosensors through the study of fluorescent polyamines. The compounds are also anchored to different supports such as microporous and mesoporous materials, silica nanoparticles, gold nanoparticles, quantum dots, and boehmite nanoparticles, with the aim of obtaining more efficient chemosensors.
