The SUPRAMOL (Supramolecular Chemistry Research Group) organises a conference titled ‘Photochemistry of Drug-Protein Complexes.’

Dr Miguel Ángel Miranda, from the Institute for Chemical Technology (ITQ) of the Universitat Politècnica de València, will hold a conference titled ‘Photochemistry of Drug-Protein Complexes’ on Thursday, 14 December 2017. The event will take place at 10:15am in the Assembly Hall of the Research Institutes of the Science Park of the Universitat de València.

Dr Miranda will address the photochemical mechanisms involved in the formation of drug-protein complexes. He will discuss how the interaction of light with these complexe can influence the effectiveness and safety of drugs, as well as the implications in the design of new treatments. The conference is aimed at students, researchers and professionals in the fields of chemistry and pharmacology who are interested in the advances of photochemistry applied to medicine.
