Javier Miró, member of the researcher team, took part in the news segment of Àpunt on 5 March 2025 to explain that due to the increase in the accumulation of water vapour in the atmosphere the frequency of DANA episodes such as the ones suffered in 2024 and 2025 could increase in the future, happening every 4 or 5 years.
