Older adults with frailty often experience mobility problems that significantly affect their health and quality of life. With the rapid aging of the population, it is essential to develop strategies that help prevent disability and promote healthy aging. Our project evaluates new therapies combined with physical exercise to improve functional capacity and quality of life in pre-frail individuals.
The general objective of the present study is to analyse whether a physiotherapy protocol that incorporates transcranial electrical stimulation during rotator cuff strengthening is more effective on the symptomatology and functionality of subjects with subacromial pain syndrome than an isolated strengthening programme alone.
The objective of the present study is to analyse the effectiveness of transcranial electrical stimulation prior to an eccentric therapeutic exercise programme on parameters related to pain and functionality in individuals with patellar tendinopathy.
