On the afternoon of 25 September 2023, BESTT training programme on innovation and entrepreneurship in sport sciences was launched. Different teams of students from three institutions (Universitat de València, Technische Universität Chemnitz and Universidade Federal do Pampa) will train in entrepreneurship and make a service proposal for sports assessment.

BESTT training programme started on Monday 25th September with an online session that included the opening of the course by the coordinators (Mr. José Ignacio Priego Quesada from the Universitat de València, Ms. Andresa Mara de Castro Germano from the Technische Universität Chemnitz and Mr. Felipe Carpes from the Universidade Federal do Pampa), as well as a training on the design of the business model and the COIL methodology that will be used in the programme.

The training on the design of the business model was given by Mr. Lars Mackel from the German company Saxeed, while the training on the COIL methodology was given by Professor Eva Haug from the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences. 

More than 35 people attended the training, including students and teachers from the three institutions.

After this initial session, students will receive 4 training workshops on entrepreneurship and communication skills during the month of October. In addition, students will work in teams to develop a proposal for a sports assessment service.

The programme will conclude with a closing session, in which the 3 best projects developed will be awarded, in addition to the fact that all students who complete the tasks and have attended all the training will receive a gift voucher to be used in the Tenda UV.
