Successful Conference 'Emprendre per l'Economia Social' held in IES Juan Comenius and funded by Generalitat Valenciana

IES Juan Comenius in València became the stage for the trainin cycle 'EmprendeES: Emprendre per l'Economia Social' ('EmprendreES: Entrepeneurship for Social Economy'), initiative funded by Generalitat Valenciana and aiming to bring collective and ethical entrepeneurship closer to students.

Students had an active participation in conference theoretical sessions, real entrepeneurship experience and interactive activities about social economy principles. The conference was welcomed by teachers and students alike. 

The conference included professor in Applied Sessions Antonia Sajardo's session who presented the Aula Empresocial programme and reflected on what it means to become an entrepeneur in social economy. Full-time university professor in Finance and Tax Law at UV Pilar Alguacil presented the company formats of this model.

Canine Centre Koira Helga Figueroa and Joan Rojeski cooperative shop Rosa Reig participated by sharing their career and experience as entrepeneurs. The conference closed with an interactive activity of social economy directed by Teresa Puchol and moderated by Antonia Sajardo

The conference is part of the first EmprendreES training cycle programme that will visit different education centres in the Valencian Community throughout 2025 aiing to promote entrepeneurship within the youth based on sustainability, solidarity and democratic participation.
