
The students of the Department, D. Mauro Brotons and Gisbert and Daniel González Iglesias, have received the Extraordinary Doctorate Award for the 2017-18 academic year
Mauro Brotons i Gisbert and Daniel González Iglesias, together with another 70 new doctors, received the Extraordinary Doctorate Award from the rector of the University of Valencia, Mª Vicenta Mestre, at an event held at the auditorium of the building of La Nau.
Dr. Mauro Brotons i Gisbert obtained the extraordinary doctoral award for his PhD Work Optical and electronic properties of the two-dimensional materials InSe, WSe2 and MoS2; supervised by Dr. Juan Fco. Sánchez Royo, member of the Department of Applied Physics and Electromagnetism.
Dr. Daniel González Iglesias obtained the extraordinary doctoral award for his PhD work Analysis of the multi impactor effect in microwave waveguides and transmission lines; supervised by Dr. Benito Gimeno Martínez, member of the same Department.
