The PhD Program in Chemical, Environmental and Process Engineering, organized by the Chemical Engineering Department at the University of Valencia has been awarded with Mention to Excellence of the Ministry of Education, with effect from the academic year 2011-12 until 2013-14.

The Ministry of Education has granted with Mention to Excellence the official Ph.D. program in Chemical, Environmental and Process Engineering, organized by the Chemical Engineering Department at the University of Valencia, with effect from academic year 2011-2012 to 2013-2014. Mention awarded by the Ministry through the Secretariat of State for Universities distinguishes those doctoral programs that stand out for their special prestige and international renown.
With the resolution, signed by the General Secretary of Universities, Màrius Rubiralta, this program may be recorded in its advertising the term "Ph.D. Program awarded with Mention to Excellence by the Ministry of Education of Spain", indicating for the academic has been granted.
"Doctoral programs that have earned the Mention to Excellence, says the resolution, will constitute an international benchmark. The relationship of programs that have been awarded with this Mention will be incorporated into the Integrated System of University Information (SIIU), which will comprise updated information on the monitoring of such Mentions".
