The purpose of the Doctoral Programme Quality Committee is to guarantee the implementation and monitoring of the Quality Assurance System. It is made up of the members of the Academic Committee of the programme plus a representative of the doctoral students, a member of the PAS and a technician from the Quality Unit, appointed by its management and who performs the functions of technical quality support.

The functions of this Quality Committee are as follows:

• Develops and supervises the implementation of all the procedures that depend on the doctoral programme and is responsible for assessing the proper development of the system in this study.
• Develops the proposals for improvement of the Quality Assurance System derived from the implementation of the procedures.
• It monitors the effectiveness of the procedures through the indicators and evidence associated with the Quality Assurance System. All the procedures conclude with the evaluation and consequently the proposal of improvement proposals that are reviewed annually.
• Controls the execution of corrective and/or preventive actions, actions derived from the review of the system, actions in response to suggestions, complaints and claims.
• It coordinates, together with the Quality Unit, the procedures for collecting information from stakeholders.
• The Quality Unit reports the results of the indicators and the reports of the stakeholder satisfaction surveys, for analysis in the different procedures and, if deemed appropriate, the development of improvement actions derived from the study of these data.

• Supervises the information and reports to those involved in the doctoral programme on the assessment and improvement procedures that have been developed with the implementation of the Quality Assurance System.

The Quality Committee of the Doctoral Programme meets according to the frequency established in each of the procedures, holding meetings at least every three months to verify the adequate implementation of the IQAS.
