For accessing  the Doctoral Programme in its period of research it will be necessary to hold an official Master’s Degree or other of the same level issued by a higher education institution of the European Higher Education Area.

The holders of a degree obtained through a system outside the European Higher Education Area, also can access without its approval, but after previous verification that the degree certifies a level of education equivalent to the corresponding Spanish Master’s Degree and that empowers in the issuing country for the qualification for accessing the Doctoral Studies. The access through this procedure does not imply, in any case, the approval of the previous qualification of the person interested or its recognition for other purposes different to the completion of Doctoral Studies.

In addition, the students who meet some of the following requirement can access the research period:

  • To have completed 60 credits included in one or more Master’s Degrees.
  • To hold a Diploma d’Estudis Avançats (A tertiary Education Degree), obtained according to the provisions of the Royal Decree 778/1998, 30 April, or to have the Research Sufficiency regulated by the Royal Decree 185/1985, 23 January.
  • To hold an Undergraduate Degree, of at least 300 credits, according to the regulations of the Community Law.
