Compulsory activities:

  • The doctoral students should choose between the different cross-disciplinary activities proposed by the Postgraduate Studies Service up to a total of - 60 hours
  • Attendance tot he Interdisciplinary Seminar “Space and Time” - 20 hours
  • Attendance to a Specialisation Seminar of methodological nature - 30 hours
  • Follow-up and doctoral students meeting with a PowerPoint presentation - 30 hours

Optional activities:

  • Follow-up and doctoral students meeting with a PowerPoint presentation - 10 hours
  • Registration in Conferences, Workshops , Follow-up Meetings of R&D projects and in national or international Scientific Meetings -20 hours
  • Participation with presentations in Conferences, Workshops, Follow-up Meetings of R&D projects and in national or international Scientific Meetings -50 hours
  • Short stays in foreign research centres - 50 Hours
  • Participation in field activities, stays in archives or documentation centres - 50 hours
  • Attendance to courses specialised in the specific subject of the doctoral thesis - 20hours
  • Scientific publication related to the doctoral thesis - 50 hours

Training Activities Planning for full-time students

Compulsory activities:

Compulsory activities totalling 140 hours and will be developed according to this structure:

  • First year
    • The doctoral students should choose between the different cross-disciplinary activities proposed by the Postgraduate Studies Service up to a total of 60 hours
  • Second year
    • Attendance at the Interdisciplinary Seminar “Space and Time” - 20 hours
  • Third year
    • Attendance to a Specialisation Seminar of methodological nature - 30 hours.
  • Fourth year - adaptable
  • Fifth year
    • Follow-up and doctoral students meeting with a PowerPoint presentation - 30 hours.

Optional activities:

Students can choose among optional activities after agreement with the supervisor up to a total of 100 hours. It will be intended that one year does not exceed a total of 60 hours.
