Students who meet the requirements to access the research period of the doctoral programme will be admitted following specific admission requirements and merit assessment criteria:

  • Students who have completed the training period of the Doctoral Studies in Remote Sensing will have preference in admission to the research period.
  • Graduates who hold a university master’s degree or equivalent in Remote Sensing, or any equivalent qualification, taken in Spain or in a country belonging to the EHEA, who have completed 300 ECTS credits during their studies.
  • The rest of graduates, with other qualifications from the Spanish university system or from other EHEA or non-EHEA countries who satisfy the conditions of access to the research period, must undergo a selection process managed by the Doctoral Studies Coordinating Committee.

Merit assessment criteria

Admission will be based on:

  • Academic record
  • Student's CV
  • Affinity of previous studies

In the application for admission to the research period, the candidate will submit a Doctoral Thesis Project, the topic and supervisor(s) of which must be approved by the Doctoral Studies Coordinating Committee.

The Doctoral Studies Coordinating Committee will arbitrate the necessary measures for establishing, in the case of students with special educational needs arising from disabilities, the appropriate support and counselling services, which will even contemplate the possibility of specific curricular adaptations.
