Information about Séneca grants for the A/Y 2013-2014
The Spanish Ministry of Education, Culture and Sports informs that there will be no SENECA grant in the academic year of 2013/2014. Never the less, the SICUE placement remains as it was but students should take into consideration the lack of a financial aid. The call for the SICUE placement opens on February 4, 2013.

The SENECA Grant is a financial aid for those who got a place for the SICUE mobility. This is a mobility program between Spanish Universities for undergraduate and graduate students. It was created by the Rector Conference of the Spanish Universities (CRUE) in order to make the student exchange between universities easier.
First of all, students should apply for a SICUE exchange. Only if they are admitted and dispose of a grade point average of 6,50 or 5,90 in case of technical careers, they will be able to apply for a SENECA grant. Finally, the student can go on the exchange, regardless of whether he was granted the SENECA financial aid or not.
Students interested in grant should watch out for further information (next call for the grant, etc.) published on the web page of the Spanish Ministry of Education (
www.educacion.es) or on the web page of the International Office.
You may also keep in mind that the nomination for the grant will be communicated through the electronic office of the ministry and also via email. The nominated students dispose of 10 days to accept or refuse the financial aid. If the nominated student does not accept nor refuse the grant within the set period of time it is interpreted as a rejection of the grant. The same proceeding will be applied to any other deadlines.
