André Höchemer, also known by his brand name "Alemol", has been living and working in Valencia for more than 20 years. He has been a freelance German translator and interpreter since 2002 and a sworn translator and interpreter since 2007. He has been a member of La Xarxa, a Network of Translators and Interpreters of the Valencian Community, since 2004. He has created a bilingual blog called "Diario de un Alemol" and the humorous publication "El Mundillo Today". Since 2011, he has been translating comics and graphic novels, including works by Paco Roca, Antonio Altarriba, Kim, Keko, Max, Álvaro Ortiz and, more recently, new issues of Mortadelo y Filemón.

Organised by: Department of Translation and Interpreting (University of Granada) and the Department of English and German Philology (University of Valencia) and the DAAD (German Academic Exchange Service).

Simultaneous interpreting: students of the Master's Degree in Conference Interpreting (UGR).
