On 17 April 2026, Professor Elena Martínez García, member of the Sustainable Law in a state of global change (JUSOST) project, held a conference entitled Análisis de la justicia desde la perspectiva de género (Law perspective from gender perspective) at the Universitat Jaume I in Castellón, in the frame of the Master’s Degree in Criminal Justice System.

During her intervention, Professor Martínez tackled the importance of including gender perspective in the legal field, highlighting its role in guaranteeing an effective and equal legal protection specially, in contexts of vulnerability. Additionally, she considered the challenges of its practical application in criminal justice system.

The activity enabled to create a space for educational reflection on the need for including inclusive approaches to the interpretation and application of Law, in a context marked by contemporary social and legal transformations.

The participation of Professor Elena Martínez reinforces the commitment of JUSOST project to the study of law from innovative perspectives, promoting of legal systems that are more inclusive, sustainable, and adapted to current challenges.
