Juan Herrero Perezagua, full university professor of Procedural Law in the University of Zaragoza and member of the research team of the JUSOST project, has participated in the Third Joint IAPL and IIDP Conference “Judicial Efficiency Revisited”, which had place in Zagreb between 11 and 13 September, 2025.

Inside the fremwork of this international meeting, professor Herrero presented, along with professor Javier López, the communication titled “Eficiencia vs. efectividad”. The conference the debate about the current challenges that judicial systems are confronting in the search of a balance between acceleration of the procedures and the guarantee of an effective and quality justice.

The congress, organised both by the International Association of Procedural Law (IAPL) and the Ibero-American Association of Procedural Law (IIDP), reunited remarkable specialists from all over the world with the goal of reflecting on the challenges of judicial efficiency in the contemporary context.
