On 22nd and 23rd November, Spanish and Italian experts, many of whom belong to MedArbValencia and Prometeo 2018/111, debated about some of the most relevant issues of the current criminal justice system and explained their viewpoints.
The prestige of the speakers, the large number of subjects that were covered (Procedural Law, Criminal Law and International Law) and the diversity of viewpoints led to interesting conclusions. These conclusions will be included in a monography that aimsto study in depth these subjects. The title “Diálogo Internacional con la Justicia Penal” referenced some of the themes that were addressed in the conference in four different panels of discussion. They counted on speakers of several universities: Universidad de Valladolid, Universidad de La Coruña, Universidad del País Vasco, Universidad de Sevilla, Universidad de Valencia, Universidad Jaume I Castellón, Università di Bologna, Università de Palermo, Università di Modena and Università del Piemonte Orientale. The conference had a great scientific significance and surely will leadto important conclusions.
The event was organised by the honorary professor Silvia Barona Vilar, Elena de Luis García and Ana Isabel Blanco García. Barona is the lead researcher of the Prometeo Project 2018/111.
