Dr. Nicolás Rodríguez-García, member of the research project JUSOST (Sustainable Law in a State of Global Change), participated as speaker in the Chair of INCIBE- National Institute of Cybersecurity of the University of Extremadura, within the ‘Cyberlegal Conferences: cybersecurity as a legal challenge’.
His speech, entitled ‘Cyber security in reporting channels’, analysed the challenges of data protection and confidentiality in internal and external communication systems for the receipt of alerts and reports. Dr. Rodríguez-García highlighted the necessity to ensure a balance between transparency, data protection and technological security within the current legislation
With his particpation, Dr. Rodríguez-García contributes to the academic and professional debate on the new legal challenges arising from digitalisation and artificial intelligence. This is in line with the research objectives of the JUSOST,project, which is committed to sustainable and adapted to the technological challenges of the 21st century justice.
