Cris Bartual
Valencia, 1996. The artist pushes the boundaries of photography away from the real, tangible world, playing with the duality of the real and the fictitious, and simulating what our eyes cannot see. In her works, Cris Bartual works by decontextualising and combining photographs with different materials, such as found objects that allow her to break with the logic of images. She has exhibited in spaces such as Las Naves (Valencia) and the Museo de Bellas Artes de Castellón, and in galleries such as the Galería Antoni Pinyol (Reus) and DiGallery (Seville).
