According to the list type, the operation to carry out, the procedure is different:
Particular lists
- For this type of list it is enough with filling in and sending out the following form
Institutional lists
- If it is the case of an institutional list, this form must be printed, filled in and sent (appropriately signed) via intern mail or fax (963864200) to the Computing Service.
Change of responsible of a departmental list
- In this case this other form must be used, printed, filled and sent (appropriately signed) via intern mail or fax (963864200) to the Computing Service
Necessary data for the form
In the form, general characteristics regarding the functioning of the requested list shall be detailed:
- Type of list subscription: opened subscription or closed subscription
- An automatic confirmation of the request can be demanded
- Whether or not you have to be subscripted to the list to send it
- Whether the access to the files is public or limited to the list members
- Whether the existence of the list and its members are to be public, confidential or limited to an organization, domain, etc.
- Any other information the requester finds relevant.
When the list is operative, it will be notified via email. The list configuration can be modified by the responsible although due to the variety of options (and configuration parameters available in Listserv) it can be convenient to consult the server responsible before making modifications.
