Valèncial Local Police headquarters held a training conference withint the 'València + Segura' Plan, an initiative promoted by València City Hall and organised by Universiat de València via the Chair of València Sustainable Economy Model and Environment (MESVAL Chair).

The session was presented by professor and Activity Coordinator of MESVAL Chair. Firefighter Alejandro Carabal participated in the event along with 75 police officers and inspectors of the Local Police, mayors and districts administration members.

Training aimed for schools

The conference aimed to train attendants in holding training sessions at educational centres thanks to the positive influence and credibility of an authority figure for students.

During the conference, training concepts already implemented in neighbour associations, elderly centres and other community spaces are thoroughly exlained. Participant came to know the educational materials specifically adapted to the educational level, the work of specialised professor at the Universitat de València Faculty of Teaching Training.

The 'València + Segura' Plan represents the support for a preventive and autoprotective education born from the collaboration between public institutions and the university community to reinforce citizen security from education and awareness.
