
The conference took place on 11 and 12 July 2024 at the Faculty of Economics and Business of the University of Barcelona.
The Labour Economics Conference aims to provide a platform to discuss crucial issues related to the functioning and performance of the labour market, as well as the economic policies designed for this market.

The Jornadas de Economía Laboral hosted two main conferences, by Ana Rute Cardoso (Instituto de Ciências Sociais, Universidade de Lisboa) and Joan Monràs (Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco). Antonio Argüeso, Director General of Population Statistics, participated with a session on the ERADA project, based on the merger of different administrative registers.
The panel discussion on gender and the labour market included Libertad González (Universitat Pompeu Fabra & BSE), Zelda Brutti (Competence Centre on Microeconomic Evaluation, European Commission - Joint Research Centre S.3) and Marta Curto (Generalitat de Catalunya).
