The Chair for International Finance-Banco Santander at the Universitat de València has participated one more year in the award ceremony for the Extraordinary Awards and Best Academic Records of Degree and Master’s Degree in the field of Economics and Business corresponding to the academic year 2024-2025, acknowledging the academic excellence of the students of the Faculty of Economics.
During the ceremony, held on 12 June at the hall of the Faculty, the effort, commitment, and dedication of the most outstanding students and former students was publicly recognised. The award ceremony featured the Vice-Dean of Degree Studies, Dolores Florés; the Vice-Dean of Postgraduate Degree Studies, Ángel Soler; the Vice-Principal for Internationalisation, Cooperation, and Multilingualism, Ms. Emilia Ferrer García; and the Dean of the Faculty, Francisco Muñóz, as well as the accompaniment of relatives, friends, and teachers.
During the event, not only were the academic excellence of the distinguished students valued, but also the dedication, perseverance, and effort existing behind those results. One of the most significant moments came along with the discourses of the representatives of the awarded students, who expressed their gratitude and regard for their alma mater, defending the Universitat de València as a public and high-quality university.
Dr Begoña Herrero, Head of the Chair, participated in the event giving the awards funded by the Chair to the most remarkable academic records of the year:
- Degree in Business Management and Administration: Inés Cortell Cerdá. Given by Dr Begoña Herrero, Head of the Chair.
- Master’s Degree in Actuarial and Financial Sciences: Vicent Duato Aguilar. Given by Dr Begoña Herrero, Head of the Chair.
- Master’s Degree in Corporate Finance: Giovanna María Sol González Cabello Maldonado. Given by Dr Begoña Herrero, Head of the Chair.
