On Monday 19 June, Rafael Verdera (head of the department of Civil Law of the Universitat de València) and Mª Emilia Adán (regional dean of the Land and Mercantile Registrars Association of the Valencian Community) will officiate over the closing Academic Event of the year 2016-2017 of the Bienvenido Oliver Chair. The ceremony will start at 19:00 in the Assembly Hall of the Principal’s Office Building of the Universitat de València.

The closing lecture is entitled “The defense of the debtor in the draft bill regulating real estate credit agreements” and will be taught by Vicente Guilarte, member of the General Council of the Judiciary and full university professor of Civil Law. The event will be a meeting point between the Universitat and the valencian society, whose relationship has been consolidated thanks to the effort of all the registrars who have collaborated during this course with different universities in courses, master’s degrees and seminars under the coordination of the supervisor of the Chair, Juan Manuel Llopis, and the Centre for Registrar Studies.
