The Chair for a New Green Transition presents the TFG Awards on Sustainable Tourism and participates in the Human Rights Week at the UV

Prize winners and members of the Chair

On 12 December, the team of the Chair for a New Green Transition of the Universitat de València participated in two events.

On the one hand, the Chair took part in the presentation of the TFG Awards on Sustainable Tourism together with the Dean of the Faculty of Law, Francisco J. Palao Gil, the Director of the Human Rights Institute of the Universitat, Fernando Flores; and the Director General of Institutional Coordination of the Valencian Government, Marc Aparici. The award winners were as follows:

  • First prize (500 euros) to the TFG presented by the student Panna Kirzsán: La incorporación de la inteligencia artificial en el desarrollo sostenible del turismo.
  • Second prize (300 euros) to the TFG presented by the student Daniel Enrique Da Silva: La planificación estratégica del turismo en la ciudad de València: un análisis de sus actuaciones desde la sostenibilidad.
  • Third prize (200 euros) to the TFG presented by the student Michelle Liza: Gastronomic tourism. An insight into the success of this global phenomenon and gastronomic tourists.

The event took place during the Human Rights Week of the Universitat de València. On the morning of 12 December, the centre was attended by the fourth Vice-President of the Government and minister for Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge, Teresa Ribera. In addition, an exhibition on La Albufera was inaugurated in the hall of the Faculty of Law, under the title La Albufera: past, present and... future?, with the aim of exhibiting it in other faculties.
