Between 10 and 20 September, the 9th Edition of the Valencia Comic Conference was held in the cloister of the La Nau Cultural Centre. The Chair for Comic Studies SM Foundation-Universitat de Valencia has participated with an exhibition.

The Chair for Comic Studies SM Foundation-University of Valencia participated in the 9th Valencia Comic Conference, organised by the Valencian Comic Association (ASOVALCOM). Along with the Comic Society of the Universitat de València, the Chair contributed in this new edition, which was conditioned by sanitary restrictions, but which did not stop the event from taking place safely in the cloister of La Nau.

The Chair collaborated in the organisation of the talks and the exhibition ‘Comando DDT contra los Vampiros’, which reviews the genre comic in Spain from the Bruguera school to Manuel Benet and Sergio Bleda. The exhibition can be visited in the Sala Estudi General at La Nau until 29 November.
