The Chair for Comic Studies Foundation SM-University of Valencia has collaborated in different activities with the celebration of the Comic Fair of Valencia, which took place at Feria Valencia from 28 February to 1 March.

The Chair has collaborated with the fair by advising on different aspects of content organisation, as well as in the management of the first Antifaz Awards, which were given out at this event, being in charge of the jury's call for entries and their deliberations. In addition, the Chair participated in different activities: Álvaro Pons, head of the Chair, moderated the lectures ‘Aventuras y desventuras del cómic en el Museo' (Adventures and misadventures of the comic in the Museum) and ‘Modernidad y vanguardia desde la València de los 80. La Nueva Escuela Valencia y la revista Cairo' (Modernity and avant-garde from the Valencia of the 80s.The New School Valencia and the magazine Cairo). On the other hand, Professor Adela Cortijo interviewed the artist Charles Berberian in the talk ‘La belleza de lo cotidiano’ (The beauty of the everyday).
