The event was held the morning of Monday, 18 May at the Faculty of Economy of the Universitat de València.
The event started with the introduction, undertaken by Amadeo Fuenmayor, director of the Regional Taxation Chair.
Afterwards, the event continued with the section of presentations, moderated by Rafael Granell, director of the EvalPub research group. This section featured Rubén Amo (EvalPub, Universitat de València), Isabel Martínez (KOF Swiss Economic Institute, ETH Zurich), and Isabel Micó (Banco de España), who showed different perspectives of the effects of patrimonial transfer and the design of transfer taxes.
At the end, the event concluded with the closing ceremony, conducted by Inmaculada Domínguez Calomarde, Directora General de Tributos y Juego (General Director for Taxes and Gambling) (Generalitat Valenciana).
The activity took place at the Pilar Tamborero Lecture Hall (2P04), located at the second floor of the Faculty of Economics, at the Tarongers Campus.
This conference on inheritances and donations was organised by the Regional Taxation Chair, along with the UV EvalPub research group, the Conselleria de Economía, Hacienda y Administración Pública de la Generalitat Valenciana (Valencian Government), and the Department of Applied Economics at the Faculty of Economics at the UV.
